Express Entry

Fast-track towards Canadian permanent residence.

Express Entry is one of the fastest ways to permanent residence in Canada, and it runs entirely on your Comprehensive Ranking System score. Your CRS score decides whether you are invited to apply at all, which makes every point on your profile worth finding.

How it works

Three steps to qualify for Express Entry.

Create an Express Entry profile

Your profile must qualify for one of the three Express Entry streams: Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or Federal Skilled Trades (FST). The system then calculates your CRS score from your age, education, work experience and English or French ability.

Where files are won: most profiles leave CRS points on the table. A licensed review finds them before you enter the pool.

Receive an invitation to apply (ITA)

The Canadian government periodically draws from the pool of Express Entry profiles based on a cutoff score. Score above it and you are invited to apply for permanent residence. A provincial nomination can dramatically increase your CRS score.

Submit the full application

After the invitation comes the real application for permanent residence. We prepare it, review it, file it and monitor it until the decision lands. Complete and correct the first time is what protects the fast timeline.

Questions

CRS scores and draws, asked plainly.

What CRS score do I need for Express Entry?

There is no single passing score. The government draws from the pool periodically based on a cutoff, and profiles above it are invited to apply. Where your own CRS score stands, and what it could be with a properly built profile, is what a consultation establishes.

What is my score based on?

Your profile is scored on your individual merits, such as education, age, work history and English or French language ability. A provincial nomination can dramatically increase it.

Which stream do I qualify for?

Your profile must be eligible for one of the three Express Entry streams: Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class or Federal Skilled Trades. Confirming the right stream is the first step of the assessment we run.

How fast is Express Entry?

Express Entry carries one of the fastest average processing times of any Canadian permanent residence program, around six months once you apply. Times are set by IRCC and vary by case, and a complete, correct application is what protects that timeline.
